Starting at the tender age of 14 he has made himself one the most representative artists of the Canary Islands since his professional debut in 1998. Ever present in oversize festivals such as “Magma Meeting”, “Eólica”, “Life Parade BCN” or “Foc in Festival” and a regular at Canary Island major clubs his name is starting to appear in Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia, Sevilla, London, Berlin and Ibiza. Amongst artists he has shared the stage with; Michael Mayer, Tobi Neumann, Marco Carola, Ellen Alien, Ivan Smaggue, M.A.N.D.Y., Pascal Feos, Steve Bug, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, Kiki, Damian Lazarus, Stacey Pullen, Derrick May and countless others.
During his career he has been involved in various projects in radio, television and events; At 16 Luis was directing his own radio space on a variety of local stations under the name “T.C.R. – The Club Rhythm”. At 18 he joined forces with Alberto “Beto” Uña to create “Oxigeno – Universo de Sonidos”, radio session and acknowledged milestone which introduced a new era to the Tenerife clubbing scene. In the summer of 1999 he co-presents “Flash back” for Antena3 TV, Tenerife. Luis is currently working on a new radio based project: Utopia, underground danceable electronic music, which aims to broadcast throughout the region and the rest of the world via his personal website www.luisgroove.com
Luis has been resident DJ for more than 9 years in one of the most emblematic clubs of Tenerife, the after-hour BB+ and has been responsible for the artistic musical program of event promotions agency “Elementhal Events” (Eólica, Magma) since 2005. He is currently resident at Canary Island promoter parties “Lego Group” (Dolce Villa, Diamond Matinée) and “Tauko Producciones” (Deep Moments, Fusion Victims, Sea Sound)
Considered an eclectic and versatile dj who has repeatedly shown his ability to adapt, renew his sound and knows how to focus his sessions to both dancefloors and the ‘masses’ as well as the underground and club audience. His sessions are always a guarantee of quality where the deepest sounds and latest trends of underground electronic music are mixed finely with old school House and Techno.

Comienza a la temprana edad de 14 años y desde su debut a nivel profesional en 1998 en Tenerife, se ha convertido en uno de los artistas más representativos de las Islas Canarias. Presente en festivales multitudinarios como “Magma Meeting”, “Eólica”, “Life Parade Bcn”, “Foc in Festival, Val” y habitual en los principales clubes de Canarias, esta comenzando a visitar sitios como Londres, Berlín, Ibiza, Barcelona, Valencia, Sevilla o Granada. Compartiendo cartel con artistas de la talla de; Michael Mayer, Tobi Neumann, Marco Carola, Ellen Alien, Ivan Smaggue, M.A.N.D.Y., Pascal Feos, Steve Bug, Gabriel Ananda, Tiga, Ricardo Villalobos, Luciano, kiki, Damian Lazarus, John Aquaviva, Terry Lee Brown Jr, Aril Brikha, Silicon Soul, Stacey Pullen, Derrick May, Cristian Varela, Alex Under, y un sin fin más.
A lo largo de su carrera ha desempeñado diferentes proyectos en radio, televisión y producción de eventos; Con tan solo 16 años dirige su propio espacio radiofónico por diversas emisoras locales bajo el nombre “T.C.R. - The Club Rythm”. A los 18 se une profesionalmente a Alberto “Beto” Uña para crear “Oxigeno - Universo de Sonidos”, programa de radio que marcó una nueva etapa en el clubbing de Tenerife. En el Verano de 1999 es co-presentador del programa de TV “Flash back” para la cadena Antena 3 Tenerife. Actualmente trabaja en un nuevo proyecto radiofónico: Utopía, música electrónica de baile de carácter underground, que pretende sonar a nivel regional en radio y para todo el planeta a través de su Web personal www.luisgroove.com.
Dj residente desde hace mas de 8 años en uno de los clubes más emblemáticos de Tenerife, el club-after hour BB+ además de responsable de la programación artística musical de la promotora de eventos “Elementhal Events” (Eólica, Magma) desde el año 2005. Actualmente es residente en las fiestas de las promotoras canarias “LegoGroup” (Dolce Villa, Diamond Matinee) y “Tauko Producciones” (Deep Moments, Fussion Victims, Sea Sound).
Luis Groove fue uno de los pioneros en el uso de la tecnología Final Scratch 2.0 en Canarias. Valorado por ser un dj ecléctico y versátil, que ha sido capaz siempre de adaptarse, renovar su sonido y saber enfocar una sesión tanto a la “pista” y las “masas” como al sector más “underground” y de club. Sus sesiones son siempre garantia de calidad, donde los sonidos más “Deep” y las ultimas tendencias de la electronica “underground” se mezclan con elegancia con House y Techno de la vieja escuela.
