About Me

Check out our BLOG http://recycledtoys.wordpress.com
Re-Toyed Trash is a project in Leeds encouraging people to Re-Use existing materials and use found objects to create something really unique.
We have workshops that most frequently happen on Saturdays where we can help anyone make art from junk. We try to hold workshops as often as we can, but for up-to-date news, check out the blog or join our mailing list to hear when the next workshop will be. Send an email to: retoyedtrash(AT)gmail(DOT)comEveryone is welcome to our workshops, so don't be shy, come and make something.
We supply lots of materials that we find around on our travels and discarded objects. We also have adhesives for you to use as well as tools like needles for sewing and scissors for cutting. Bring some of your own junk to work on. If you can stick it together, give it a go! We want to give old rubbish a new life. We have previously used: broken toys, broken electronic equipment, abandoned shop stock (including army memorabilia), bones, the materials from dismantled sculptures, scrap fabrics and unwanted clothing. We accept donations and we would like to thank anyone who has given any unwanted materials for us to work on in the workshops.
