I love almost everything really, from Russian Opera to Dead Kennedys, but especialy Elvis Costello, The Replacments, Eli, Willie Nelson, The Gipsy Kings (or anythings Flamenco for that matter),Rascal Flatts, Billy Stewart, early Peral Jam, Tool or Rage, Lylle Lovet, All things Scotish or Irish, Old Punk (DK, SOD, GBH DRI, Black Flag, Goneriha Milkshake), New Jazz, Arron Copland, Chopin, Jennifer Knapp, AC/DC and Van Halen are a must at parties, lots of Frank Zappa, hell I lived with Treadmill, Husker Du, Goerge Strait, Junior Brown, Mozart (for his operas) Bethoven (for the 9th), Carl Orf, The mighty Russian Fistfull, I love to listen to Saturday live at the Met on 90.1 and Garrison Keiler's Prarie Home Companion on Sunday afternoons, but the greatest Rock Band of all time is... The Who (Love Reign o'r Me becuse We Won't be Fooled Again)
Not in any order Glory, Star Wars (all of them), My Beautiful Life, Saving Privite Ryan, Pink Floyd The Wall, Jackass and South Park The Movie, Backdraft, (I accually joined a volunteer fire department for four years after seeing that movie) Bravehart, Rushmore, Best in Show, The Three Amigos, X-Men 1,2,and 3. Thank God, Altman made a movie out of Prarie HOme Companion. I have never seen The Notebook and I always fall asleep durring the third Austin Powers movie.
I must watch Sienfeld, Simpsons, Family Guy, Battlestar Galactia, Rescue Me, and, oh yes Entourage. But, most of the time I am addicted to PBS. I meen whats not to love, Antiques Road Show, Frontline, Nova, History Detectives...
Since I have a huge test towards my Master Sommelier in Aug. All I have read about over the last couple of years are books about Wines, Beer, Spirits, Cordials, and Cigars, but I remember really loving Marquez's "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and Cather's "Death Comes to the ArchBishop"
