About Me

This is the most difficult so I’ve left this task for last. I was born in Houston but consider London (UK) home. I wish I could go home but it just isn’t the place it used to be…never mind, it could be a lot worse. Wait, it is a lot worse—I’m living in the idiot Bush’s America . But, to paraphrase my favorite Simpson’s character, Side Show Bob, ‘the Republicans can’t stay in power forever!’ My political leanings are more to the left of center and have been described as just left of Hillary Clinton. I love music and musicians and spent most of my youth arranging to meet members of my favorite bands—some would have labeled me ‘groupie’ but it was NEVER like that. I spend a lot of time reading and manage to go through a book every other week—sometimes quicker. One day I'll get off my lazy ass and write that Star Trek novel about McCoy I’ve been threatening to write for years. I’m a Pagan and respect everyone’s vision of God/Goddess but I won’t share my beliefs if you don’t share yours. People who insist on trying to convert me only frighten me! CURRENT MOON moon phases I love to watch movies and collect favorites as well. I’ve got quite a collection and still want more. I love to laugh and have many favorite comedians—I especially love Lewis Black; he makes me cry! I love gray rainy days, autumn is my favorite time of year and my favorite holiday is Halloween! I’m trying to research my Native American heritage (Cherokee great grandmother) but am not having much luck. Seems that everyone who would know has shuffled off the mortal coil and joined the bleedin’ Choir invisible so it looks as though I’ll end up a member of the tribe Wannabe…and just to show how cultured I am--I love art too. Salvador Dali is the greatest!

You are The High Priestess

Science, Wisdom, Knowledge, Education.

The High Priestess is the card of knowledge, instinctual, supernatural, secret knowledge. She holds scrolls of arcane information that she might, or might not reveal to you. The moon crown on her head as well as the crescent by her foot indicates her willingness to illuminate what you otherwise might not see, reveal the secrets you need to know. The High Priestess is also associated with the moon however and can also indicate change or fluxuation, particularily when it comes to your moods.

I'd like to meet:

During my misspent youth, I was known as a “lady who’s friends with rock bands,” so I’ve met most of the people I would normally have listed here. If I were to list anyone presently living I guess it would be Rutger Hauer. I’ve had a crush on him since seeing Blade Runner for the first time. As for the past, I’d have to say Oscar Wilde. I was born on his 101st birthday and I’ve always felt a connection…Oh, and I wouldn't run away from Adrian Paul (The Highlander) either...Now that I've become a follower of Brent Spiner: The Living God, I HAVE to add him to this section as well.
