My Interests

I like to write. I like to read. I like to lift weights. I like to shop. I like to learn new things. I like to spend time with my friends and family. I like to travel. I like to drive. I like ice cream. I really like cheesecake. Particularly chocolate cheesecake. With whipped cream on top. I like to be right (though I lean to the left).

I'd like to meet:

Elvis.
No. The other one.

Music:

Rock. OK, I'll attempt this ... Ian Hunter, Graham Parker, Mott the Hoople, Elvis Costello, The Fratellis, Patti Smith, The Ramones, Lou Reed, Bob Dylan, Jesse Malin, Alejandro Escovedo, Bruce Springsteen, The Stones, The Who, Nick Lowe, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Billie Holiday, Patsy Cline, The Clash, Rockpile, Diamond Dogs, The Beatles, David Bowie, Van Morrison, Jim Carroll, Sex Pistols

Movies:

The African Queen, Midnight, The Terminator movies, MP & The Holy Grail, The Usual Suspects, Casablanca, Old horror movies like Dracula and Frankenstein and The Blob, The Die Hard movies

Television:

Bones. CSI (the original and Miami). Monk. Hustle. Rescue Me. Two and a Half Men. Most Evil.
Hey, how come there's not a section for artists? I love Salvador Dali!

Books:

Yes. I like books. Mostly I read biographies, but I like novels, too. My favorite author is Truman Capote. He was the most elegant writer ever. Yes, ever. I also like Vonnegut. I think Emily Dickinson was brilliant. Louise Gluck is a fantastic poet. I've read Bram Stoker's Dracula several times. I once tried to read Joyce's Finnegan's Wake while I was drunk. I still couldn't understand it.

Heroes:

I'm partial to meatball heroes.
If you're looking for a serious answer: I am my own hero; I can do anything.
