The One Love Movement was inspired by & originally began with The One Love Peace Concert which was a large concert held on April 22 1978 at Heroes Park Circle in Kingston, Jamaica. The concert came to its peak during Bob Marley & The Wailers' performance of "Jamming", when Marley joined the hands of political rivals Michael Manley and Edward Seaga and promoted his unique message of One Love.
As every April 22nd marks the anniversary of the first One Love Peace Concert it gives us all finally the opportunity to unite and stand tall for World Peace annually paying homage to Robert Nesta Marley recognising his effort of promoting the message of One Love to the world.
We propose that there should One Love Day Peace Concerts held every April 22nd across the globe to mark this very important anniversary in tribute to Robert Nesta Marley. We are sure people will agree that this a great idea and recognise the date as one worth celebrating.

T.O.L.M - In Brief
We were inspired to start this movement through the fact that the Emporer Haile Selassie spent his exile in our city of birth Bath spa ; by through reading his speechs of peace that contain great wisdom that is so relevant in these times we felt the need to convey the message and put it out there. Those speechs to us seemed to be forgotten by the masses in this new era of conflict and caused by foolish people with biased opinians on world affairs and on cultural differences. The message is kept alive and well by roots reggae music but it is the unique song One Love by Bob Marley that conveys the message loud and clear, the message we should live alongside one another in peace.
April 22nd "One Love Day" Is this possible? Is not a question we should asking but rather Is it worth trying? & Yes of course it is!!
H.I.M Haile Selassie is the figurehead of The One Love Movement (See a Picture of His Imperial Majesty Below) It is by his words of peace that we were compelled to start such a Movement that contains his wisdom and guidance, a Movement that brings to the masses his light, a light that can not be extinguished, The Rastafarians know this and you should know it too now. This is a Tribute to Haile Selassie as much as it is to Robert Nesta Marley who saw His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie as Jah! God Incarnate -
