Acrobeats, is a world influenced independent label creating breakbeat/dance/club/ instrumentals and hiphop tracks (production started 1995), consisting of live drummers and vocals and a range of independent and known musicians colaborating to make a range of styles. All sounds are recorded in both live and studio scenarios strickly for the label.Acrobeats comes with the rapper BD whom comes from a large musical family background, his father and brother are professional jazz saxophonists/musicians. Tracks have been performed in various London venues and also been used for dance routines in some independent shows and top theatres like Sadlers wells (Angel), Scala (Kings Cross), Poole Arts center (Bournemouth) Spitz (Aldgate). Being well travelled and having roots in Beirut, London, Canada, and Switzerland, adds to the variation produced. Being taught in drumkit drums and human beatbox since the early 90s, and having embraced other instruments such Tabla and ancient Nagaras, ney flutes from iran and western instruments also adds to the musical pallette.
