About Me

New York Times Bestselling and USA Today Bestselling author Shirley Jump spends her days eating, shopping and writing romantic comedies for Kensington Books ( Really Something, December 2007) as well as for both Harlequin NeXt and Romance ( Miracle on Christmas Eve, November 2007)

New in stores this fall! Miracle on Christmas Eve (November) and Really Something (December)! And in the UK only: "Snowbound Bride" in Christmas Weddings!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Music:

I'm an eclectic when it comes to music. I'm a fan of Sinatra remakes. Michael Buble, Renee Olstead, Steve Tyrell, all those David Foster finds who take the classics and do them again.

Movies:

Anything that isn't a guy movie :-) I like to be scared, love comedies, don't mind one that'll make me cry. Loved "Cold Mountain," hated the ending. Loved "Meet the Parents," hated the sequel.

Television:

Totally addicted to "Lost" and dying until it starts up again. Love "Prison Break" (Michael Scofield was the cutest until Linc grew that beard) and "ER", "Desperate Housewives," and "The Office" and "My Name is Earl." My all-time favorite episode of "The Office" has to be the bubble wrap one. Loved the one with when Jim sent faxes from Future Dwight.

Books:

Jodi Picoult's The Tenth Circle. Stephen King...anything. Susan Elizabeth Phillips...anything. The entire Harlequin NeXt line. I love Barbara Kingsolver, Deborah Smith, Barbara Samuel, Linda Goodnight, Suzanne Brockmann, Lisa Gardner...so many I'd need a whole new page :-)
