About Me

Magnificat was created in Mexico by Magnus Agliareth in 2001. Magnificat is a mixture of the old black metal school and the shred metal neoclassical influence. Magnificat has a peculiar sound rich in harmonic contrasts and speed solos, with the characteristic melodic black metal truth.Albums: Magnificat - Opus Nigrum 2005 This is a Digipack Limited Edition, includes a Poster, 1000 copies in the world. Magnificat - Superior Entities 2006 Limited Edition, 500 copies in the world.Note: We are not a scandinavian clone!!!! MAGNUS AGLIARETH.Magnus Agliareth was born in Mexico City. At first he studied classic guitar with Guillermo Gonzalez at the Guitar Art Studio and National School of Music of the National University. This results in a repertory that covers mainly Renaissance and Barroque music, but after considering the decadence of the music schools, specially the National School of Music of the National University he decided to change destinies and chose metal for life. Later he specializes in electric guitar and audio with Hector Castañon and slowly but surely began the awakening.Magnificat is working for the next material and looking for a label now.
