Raised on Long Island, New York, a place where some credible names have come from. At a young age, his talents in singing and dancing convinced his mother to put him in classes and perform with her on the road who coached him to sing, and eventually got involved in young talent competitions. He placed first in almost every competition, and began recording demos at 12. Warren left for NYC, and began recording and performing at just about every dance club. The name Warren Malone was made public on America's highest rated television show on Season 3 of "American Idol" at the age of 18, and it's definitely a clip that will be around forever.
Warren's tribute performance to Paula Abdul was highlighted in all of Idol's commercials, repeated on just about every news channel across the country, going from Good Morning America to Jimmy Kimmel Live. This opened the door for further televised interviews, and performances on prime time TV.
Malone moved on from Idol to make his debut album which would consist of a collection of Pop/Dance gems all paying tribute to the music that has molded him into the artist he is. At 23 he formed his own record label "Show World Records, LLC." His album has been in the works for nearly five years.
Recorded in Australia, Sweden, California, and New York, it is in deed a mission accomplished! Working with writers and producers who have had some of the biggest hits for Madonna, Santana, Kelly Clarkson, Kylie Minogue & Christina Aguilera, there will be some treats for the ones looking for innovative music.
With a set of radio friendly and amazingly catchy tunes paying tribute to the 80's, early 90's, but modernized. With a touch of rock, and electronic, this is an album that will surely catch many ears. Songs for the in love, the lonely and the calling. Malone sings with passion and depth that showcases itself in quite a few styles on this album. The release date is TBA.
The album launch began with a summer themed song entitled "This Summer I." A video was shot to accompany the song around long island, the place where he grew up. The video was picked up by all the video pool services reaching the clubs, bars/restaurants, department stores, and BLASTRO. A new single is getting worked into Radio right now building air play in a 6 states.
