I normally live out on an aboriginal community in the NT, about a hundred from alice down an unsealed road.. There aren't many english speakers out there but I'm near a cattle station which is alright once you get used to chasing cattle out of your yard and stuff. I read a bit but not as much as I used to cos the local library is a somewhat short of decent fodder which is rather annoying but whatever...

My Interests

I Looove READING!! yay!! and cooking!! and the internet and going for walks in the desert and talking!! The great thing about this is I can often combine the lot by reading recipes .. and then walking off the results with a friend while having a chat. Nah, I like science-y things too and doing stuff and going out and making fun of policitions and mucking around. I want to do more yoga.

I listen to Billie Holiday, Doris Day, Peggy Lee, Brenda Lee and the Andrew Sisters. also Metallica, Rage Against the Machine and the Artic Monkeys. also Joss Stone, Weezer and the Cat Empire. most anything is good.

Movies:

I live away from the a cinama so i don't see movies much, umm, V is for Vendetta and Bowling for Comlumbine.. ah crap, I don't watch much at all. ummm, Under the Tuscan Sun.

Television:

Books:

I am reading "the Cloud Spotters Guide" "Opening Skinner's Box: Great Psychological Expiriments of the 20th Century" and "Moter Mouth". also the newspaper and other .. stuff... reading.. Gooood... Used to read fantasty as well but now mostly non-fic and some more general fiction. Lauren Slater, George R. R. Martin, Terry Pratchett, Jenny Cruise, Carl Sagan... Tamora Pierce..

its like, about 5 thirty and the "Y" key keeps sticking. I am going to catch a plane back to Alice springs. I would stay here if I could but I have to go to school. I just have to-otherwise I can't go...

SKEPTIC'S!!

I just found out that a whole lot of my favorite skeptics (although its debateble as to whether or not there are any non-fav ones ) are on myspace, my god, its soo good, I listen to the skeptics guide...
