I was born on 12/04/86 in Palermo, a city on the north coast of Sicily ( Italy ). I first started to have interest in music at the age of 10, listening to Jamiroquai, Skunk Anansie and one of the group that will stay for ever in my heart: The Smasing Pumpkins. Then I started to listen to some electronic music, starting with The Prodigy, then Fatboy Slim and The Chemical Brothers. The first pieces of club music that I listened was the progressive of the second part of the 90s, expecially Datura and Robert Miles. I listened for a short period to commercial dance music, and in that period I discovered some interesting artists: Mauro Picotto and Mario Più from BXR Records. I also listened to the first real trance track of my life, Gouryella - Gouryella. I subscrived the BXR Forum and met a lot of people, from simple listeners to emergent artists. In particular I met Mauro Alpha, who introduced me to the basics of electronic music. I was so affascinated by the trance panorama that I decided to learn how to do that style. I've made some promos under the nick MouseMix and sent them to labels, but they didn't like them. Later I met a friend who under the nickname DeepBlue was producing trance. We started a project togheter, called Xtender, but our promos were refused from labels. One evening in the summer of '03, a few day after my first Street Parade in Zurich, I've made a track calling it Angelica. It was released on vinyl from an Italian label, Synergica Records, with 2 versions ( Original Mix / Astuni & Le Saux Rmx ). In this occasion I decided to use the name Evangelist. The remix of Astuni & Le Saux was played by Armin Van Buuren on ASOT 162. Then, for problems with studies, work and pc, I stopped doing music for a while. Instead I decided to listen to a wide range of other kinds of musical styles, from emocore to raggae, from dub to industrial. Now I'm ready to come back producing some music. I just want to see my name and my music around another time, and for a long time, I hope :)
