Pekka Savilampi aka Trancepulse inc, was born and raised in Sweden but my origin is finnish. In beginning of the 90's i started listen to all kind of electronical music, but the dance-techno genres was the ultimate choise for me. I still remember the first single i bought, 2 Unlimited - No Limits. At this time I also started out as a DJ at partys with great feedback from the crowd, i did often hear that i got a good taste in music and that was nice to hear. In the year 1999 i found this music creation to be more interesting, it was not just to find tracks and fit those together in the mix....it was more difficult but fun in its own way.I began with the music program in Sony Playstation (Music and Music2000) for a start and did learn the basics, after a few years (2001) a good friend of mine told me that i got some talents and said that dont get stuck on this gameconsol. He recommend me to buy a computer with a good soundcard and some good studio monitors and use these for producing music. But there was still a problem...i tried out many demos of musicprograms (Cubase, Reason, Buzz etc) but at last i got stuck with FLstudio, it took me a few months to learn the basics even here.In the year 2002 i did upload 2 tracks to a Swedish music-community site for fun, after a few days i got a mail from the site and there was a label who was intrested of both those tracks...i really was surprised over this. This label signed 4 tracks from me and those tracks is on the albums "A Trip In Trance 1 (2002) and 2 (2003)". There was a remix contest (2003) in the USA (www.nrgmusic.com) and i joined the contest, there was over thousand who joined this contest. I won this contest and got another remixprojects from those in the year 2004 and 2005.2006 there was again some contest (www.vipzone-samples.com) i did join, and once again i came in the first place and was really happy about this, the second contest from vipzone i came to the second place but i'm still happy about that. All these contests and remixworks explains me that i've got some skills after a few years of producing, but there's still alot more to learn. I spend much time (beside my work) to create own tunes when there's time =) Music is my biggest passion, to create music with nice lovely melodies which has an own meening and a smashing sound. /Pekka
