Band Members:This RARE sighting of an "extremely happening" Japanese drummer and his pasty, paled skinned tomodachi (on bass) was captured via cell phone camera during the early months of 2006 at the House of Blues and Jazz in Shanghai, China. Sam Hooper, guitarist, fearless leader, sexual diplomat...., fronted the trio as they excited and nauseated fans from around the worldDuring a blustery snowstorm in December 2004, stranded without food or water in the confines of the legendary yet dilipadated 18 Dustin St musical compound, jOrScAn and T-Mar decided it was time to create. In a single meeting they conceptualized, debated, and eventually laid down the musical foundation for a song that was already 20 years past is prime. Happy with the instrumental section, they decided that they would write and record the vocals within the week. True to form, nothing happened.
Fast foward to December 2006, where an unsuspecting Scannella happens across this project in the deep, unknown depths of his hardrive, near the filthy pictures that were thought to have been deleted. The motivation returns and he contacts Marston, armed with a plan and a vocal hook. Sticking with their one night stand mentality, they conglomerate to write and record the lyrics, also calling on the zealous voice of Ms. Jessy Luzzi to bless the track with vocal legitmacy. Sans the next couple of nights where Jordan mixed and edited Todd's vox debacle, the track was completed.
The partnership was pleased with the results, so much so that they couldn't imagine terminating the journey. What could be the next step? Video! With no real storyline, concept, or budget, a borrowed camcorder (thanks Dan!), and a dream, the trio spent the evening of New Years Day taking candid and highly personal footage of their love making...... before then commencing with the video shoot. All told the video was shot that evening and the morning of the 3rd of January (look for Todd's "dawning demeanor in bed"). jOrScAn made his maiden voyage with iMovie editing software to produce something that the whole family will censor for years to come! Here are the fruits of their labor. Thanks for visiting, we hope you enjoy!
