HERMIT was started during 1998 by Semivivus. The meaning of this 1-man project is to release, within some years, one single album included a book. HERMIT calls it's music Dark SoundScape Music and tells us a story about a wizzard living in total seclusion, which words can be found in the book that comes with the album. The music of HERMIT lies between the art of Arcana, Wongraven, (old)Mortiis, Raison d'Etre, Sophia, Phallus Dei...but also will have influences of Vinterriket, Wyrd, Swartalf...
HERMIT has a rather more personal meaning. As long as nothing has been released yet, we hope to put some melodies on this page so people will have an idea of what it's music is more or less about. The music samples here are nothing more than rough melodies which will have a part on a future release.
