Mag Mell was originally formed in June 2006 under the name "Clontarf". In October 2006, after dedicating no time to it for several months, it was resurrected with a new name.Mag Mell crosses traditional Celtic folk music with Raw Black Metal and elements from Drone Doom and Dark Ambient.
Mag Mell is strictly a studio band as there's no way to play (consistent) live shows. I'd like to one day be able to play shows, so if by a longshot there are people around Minneapolis who play traditional instruments, drums, guitars, or have anything to contribute to a performance lineup, please contact me.
As of September 2007 there's a full-length debut recorded which has not yet been released!
