- founded in 2004 by Sinneral and G.H.M. in Pilsen
- the name PANYCHIDA means ancient commemorial ceremony of our ancestors
- first songs were composed at home by Sinneral (ex-Scythe, Trepanation) and G.H.M. ("Dream About The Roaring Sky", "Running Out Of Rules"), flutes and backpipes were included into heavy/thrash/black metal base
- in 2005 the line-up was completed by Honza (Oblomov) and Talic (ex-Scythe)
- first gigs were played with drum machine
- first gig took place in Parlament club-Pilsen on 29.12.2005
- in march 2006 the 2 track promo recorded in Karlovy Vary
- in October 2006 the debut album "Paganized" was recorded in Hellsound studio with assistance of Honza Kapák (Avenger) as a studio engeneer and a live drummer
- in 2007 the deal with Folter records (Skyforger, Arkona, Samath, Hellsaw) was signed, later that year the album was released under the mentioned name

- at the end of 2008 G.H.M. decided to leave the band
- in couple of weeks the new singer is found in miss Apia of Prague..s death metal band BELLIGERENCE
- successful Czech mini-tour with serbian black metal act THE STONE is the first oppurtunity to see the band in this new line-up
- the second album is to be released in the fall of 2009 on Folter records
