EXCO LEVI was born in Jamaica and the son of popular reggae artist Michael Levy a.k.a. He also learned to play the keyboard and did professional harmonies while attending church. As a teenager, God has blessed him with the ability to understand different areas of music, which enables him to record audio, both digital and analog, while working at Stinenam Recording Studio in Kingston, Jamaica.Band Affiliation:
Before going solo, Exco performed with a Toronto base band – The Black Eskimos in which he sang and played the keyboard. Collectively, The Black Eskimos evolved tremendously and created their own niche as a home grown band that have opened for some of Toronto’s finest entertainers – Horace Martin, Peter Rankin, Bush Rat and Juno Award winner Korexion. In addition, they have provided harmony for Grammy award winner, AJ Brown and many performers at the 2007 Jamaica Day celebration.Winner “The Most Promising New Artist - 2007â€
