It was in his birth place of Jamaica where the musical journey of Bitarus began as a child. From helping set up sound systems and recording himself deejay with tape recorders, his innocent child play emerged into a talent and love for reggae music. Bitarus later moved to Toronto as a teenager where he continued to immerse himself in the music industry as an entertainment promoter and deejay, but soon realized the need to pursue his dream of a career in music as an artist. The musical pursuits of Bitarus have not been without struggles. After continuous attempts to find adequate recording studios and a producer, Bitarus decided to take his career into his own hands. He opened up his own recording studio and launched the record label Rulaz Productions. Out of this same studio, Bitarus would go on to produce and co-write one of the most successful songs “Oh Canada†by Exco Levi. Bitarus is not only a music artist he is also an avid songwriter and producer. His style is dynamic, capturing the essence of a dancehall and conscious artist. His music speaks to the l human experience of the world both near and far. Bitarus is currently promoting his music and is compiling an album to be released soon. With his continued success in the music industry as a producer and recording artist, Bitarus will become a permanent fixture within the Canadian and International music scene.
