About Me

============================================================ ======== Falling in love with music at a very young age, JoeBlack always had dreams to follow the footsteps of his favorite role models. Born in Montreal, Canada, JoeBlack was raised by his mother, alongside his two brothers and sister. After an early divorce, his father left the family to pursue his life in Florida, leaving the mother alone with her children. A bit after, things started to get better between the parents so in 1987, they reunited with the father in the United States and started attending grade school. Soon after, the same result reoccurred and his mother was forced to leave the country to return to Montreal, Canada with her four children and start from scratch. JoeBlack soon learned that he would have to be his own man from that point on. ============================================================ ======== Always been a calm and respectful person, JoeBlack was a focused student in school. He was on top of things and kept a good positive attitude in classrooms. After graduating from high school, he had plans of becoming a financial advisor or in the accounting field so he pursued his studies in College. He graduated in the Business Administration program, majoring in Finance. He soon realized that he in fact did not want to do that type of work for living. Considering he had been making music for about 4 years at the time, he decided to return to school but in a totally different field. He continued his studies as a Sound Technician and followed his dreams. Shortly after, he obtained his diploma as an Audio Engineer and has been producing, recording and mixing in his own personal studio for local acts. ============================================================ ========= JoeBlack's street anthem instrumentals were influenced by the late 80s and the 90 era rap. Never really been a fan of the commercial hip hop, JoeBlack grew up listening to hardcore/street hip hop more than anything. His hardcore style of production consists of gritty drum lines, backed up by a hard bass line and various melodic sample chops to leave you listeners in shivers. Very rapidly, a demand for his signature sound and product was created, leaving the man busy on the everyday grind. ============================================================ =========== For the future, JoeBlack has plans to be working with the greatest artists out there and keep making good music. With the ambition of being remembered as one of the greats, JoeBlack has plans of building a strong empire. Till then, he will continue to make music with his network of emcees and producers and build a greater demand for his compositions. He quickly understood that it does not happen over night, and its a long road to success. "Hard work must pay off.." is one of his favorite quotes for a reason. JoeBlack keeps working until everyone else can't stand the music, doing it for the love of it! ============================================================ =========Holla at JoeBlack @ [email protected] for more info or beats. --------------------------------------------- DJ Booking: www.12inchspinners.com Open to all serious propositions STRICTLY!!
