Follow your heart, and let the light shine bright

About Me

I had a desire to learn to play guitar my whole life. Finally, in my early twenties I decided enough was enough and I borowed a friend's and asked him to teach me a few chords. After bothering a few more friends for some chord instruction, I learned about tablature and then taught myself from there. I didn't really dedicate the time required until a few years later when I was living in Alaska and went through a bad break-up. My heart was in so much pain I had to figure out a way to let out the emotion. That was when I realized how beautiful making music can be. I write my songs from the heart. They are about Life and Love (that covers alot of ground). I listen to everything from classical to heavy metal, but when I play it comes out folk. I hope you enjoy what you hear. I believe we are all here to help each other. You just have to believe in yourself and find what your gift is. I have no tolerance for liars and people who play games. Be real and true to who you are. I may not agree with you, but if you are honest I can respect you for that. Take time out of everyday to try and help yourself and someone else to have a good day. I try everyday to help all that I can, sometimes that's alot and sometimes only a little. Are you willing to try? I hope so.

Don't give up on the fairy tale
