The fortunate find lead to the understanding that the buddha figure bestowed luck on many villages and towns throughout the world. Adventures and great heroics had been performed in it's honour, and from these stories modern legends have been born. In tales from ancient china the jade buddha and the legacy from the liquid gold have been famous for centuries, and in australia new legends are being discovered.
