Heroes of She.
Really it's just a sound and an attitude. The sound of 60's movie soundtracks dragged into the 21st century, wild pulsating Hammond, sexy girls singing and screaming out songs that leave your body exhausted and your head spinning. The band's influences are many and varied but one thing unites them all when they're writing their material. It's got to have that dynamic and explosive sound, always tight, sometimes raucous, dirty sweet and full of suprises, which comes from the unusual line up of the two girls, Amy Worth and Helen Longworth on vocals, the maveric hammond organ of James Mackie and the hard-hitting pulse of drummer John Elles.Everyone in the band loves to write, record and play live. James and John worked together before this band developing the powerful drum and Hammond sound that has become the engine room of Heroes of She. Helen and Amy have worked together too and from the moment the four linked up, non-stop writing, rehearsing and recording followed. But it is their live perfomances that generate the most excitement- as fans will testify. The band are currently in the studio putting all that energy into recording their first album!Profile modified by: The CricketSoda Myspace Profile Editor Heroes of She- Out of my way
