I've been perfect at one thing...and that's,..being perfectly human. You can't point the finger at someone without four fingers and a thumb pointing back at you,...the change always begins with you. If a man wants something he never had then he's gotta do something he's never done,...in this case I choose to be upfront and honest and put it all out there from the beginning,so there's no surprises,...no drama,...and no wasted time,..cause time is too precious,...once you've spent it you can never get it back....This is me,exactly how I was I created...plain and simple. This thing that I do,being a musician,is NOT about me,...it is about the gift that HE has given me,I've come to the realization that when GOD has given you a gift it is NOT for you to keep but to share with someone else,if not you may be depriving them of what GOD has for them.It is a rarity when you find someone who knows why they are here,...we are all here for each other,to give,not to keep what we have, for what we have been blessed with is only "on loan" to us and one day we will be held accountable for what we did with what we were given,....use it,give it,share it,....it takes nothing from you but adds more to who you were placed here to be. I want to use drumming as well as musicianship period to go as far as it will take me,to reach as many people and touch as many lives as I can.Currently I am the drummer @ my church,UPPER ROOM MINISTRIES C.O.G.I.C. where my father is the pastor.-----------------------------------------------------
------I started playing drums,..well,...from birth or atleast as far back as I or my parents can remember. I played on the table with spoons and pots'n'pans as a child,my parents thought I was crazy,their very own little 'special' child,lol. I grew up in a Christian household and we once had a missionary who stayed with us when I was a child for about a week,at dinner one night I was beating on the table with spoon and fork(as usual)my dad yellin'@ me to stop,...the missionary picked me up from the table,sat me in the kitchen floor,pulled out all the pots,pans,pie pans,etc out of the cupboards,handed me some spoons and let me 'go at it', she turned to my parents and said" You see,..he's a drummer,don't hinder the gift" and from that point on, I've been making noise,I've since graduated from spoons,pots'n'pans to drumsets,but occasionally I still pick up a spatula and and a wooden spoon when I'm the kitchen and the mood hits me,lol. I went on to play all throughout school,marching band,church(where I still paly at my father's church every Sunday),for Spoken Word venues,hip-hop,jazz,experimental,I've even tickled with some punk and hard rock,...plainly put I'll play just about anything as long as I'm playing,...my first love is and will always be playing for the Lord,that is my time to "conversate" with Him and give back the gift that He has blessed me with, without Him,I am nothing...

I've had the opportunity to play various clubs and venues such as the Cleveland Museum Of Art,City of Shaker,The Orange Jubilee,The Church of God In Christ Holy Convocation,The Ingenuity Festival and the Symphony for 1000 drums, Kent State University, B-Sides,The Symposium, Cleveland Hopkins International Airport,Hi-Fi, and Club Khameleon to name a few,... I am a member of the Federation of Drummers and Percussionists, Percussive Arts Society and Drummers for Jesus. I've had the priveledge of playing with many great musicians,singers,choirs,poets and rappers, I want to send a special shout out to one of my biggest supporters and one of the greatest poets you will ever hear,Kelly Harris, your big brother has your back always,...also Vince Robinson and the Jazz Poets,Mwatbu Okhantah,world reknowned composer,Halim El-dabh,Jamie Haddad from Rusted Root(he didn't know I was there),another great drummer from C-town,Bill Ransom,it was cool just playing next to him,RepLife,DJ Chicago and DJ Jack Da Rippa,two of the illest around who provided me with some niiiiice scratchin' on the turntables,JonBe,one of the best when it comes to freestylin' on the mic. The list is continuing to grow and I've been blessed in my life and God is continuing to bless me,opening doors to perform and surrounding me with great support. I am the instrument but He is the MUSIC!!!
