I'd like to meet:

People who just want to talk. Doesn't matter what about, just keep in mind I'm not into cybering or anything stupid like that.

Music:

I love all things metal. Ok, well I like more than just metal, but that's my favorite genre. I'm "old" so my musical tastes in rock/metal range from classic rock, through the hair bands, grunge (ok, just a little bit of grunge), etc. phases up to newer bands. My favorite band, period is OPETH. I'm a big fan of 80's thrash/speed metal, too. I wish thrash metal would make a comeback *sigh*. Yea, I'll get over it.

Movies:

I like a lot of different movies. I love cheesy 80's movies:

Horror, Drama, Romance, Thrillers, Action...doesn't matter, I will probably watch it.

Television:

What is this "television" thing you speak of???

Books:

Dan Brown's "Angels and Demons" and "The DaVinci Code" were incredible. I love Ken Follet. So far I've devoured 8 of his 18 novels. His "Pillars of the Earth" is GOLD. I've read it 3 times and have no doubt in my mind that I'll read it again every few years or so. Yes, it's THAT GOOD. Patricia Cornwell's books are good as well. I also love all the Harry Potter books, with "Prisoner of Azkaban" being my favorite so far. "Shibumi" by Trevanian is another awesome read. I've read so many books I can't remember them all.

Heroes:

Mikael Akerfeldt of Opeth. For his beautiful songwriting, his versatile voice, and his ability to make a guitar sing to me with more emotion than even words can express. He's like...God almost. Better than God, actually--at least Mikael has never let me down. He's a musical genious and I pray he never stops making music.Oh yea, and no need for an explanation on this one, is there?

The Religion Test:
You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.
