Lex and Terry

Lex (Lex Staley) and Terry (Terry Jaymes) are two syndicated morning drive radio hosts originating from Dallas, Texas On The Edge 102.1. They recently resigned from Cox Communications and inked a new contract with Clear Channel. As of November 28th, 2005, Lex and Terry can also be heard on XM Satellite Radio Channel 152 - EXTREME xm. The show on XM airs from 11am-4pm Eastern. A daily podcast of the complete program is available via iTunes and other podcast clients.
Lex and Terry were off the air in Jacksonville for four months beginning in October 2005 because of a 'non-compete' clause in their contract with Cox Communications. On February 1st, 2006, Lex and Terry returned to the Jacksonville airwaves on Planet Radio 107.3 (WPLA-FM/Clear Channel).
Dubbed "The Givers", Lex Staley and Terry Jaymes have brought "guy talk" to several stations throughout the country. With controversial programming such as Drunk Bitch Friday, the Paging Game, Stump the Tards, Running of the Bums, Who's More Pathetic, Out of Context (in which innocent phrases previously spoken on the show are aired, thus taking them out of the context in which they were originally said) and 900 number dialings, the Givers provide advice as well as their own brand of humor to the audience.
One of the more infamous bits on the show was Drunk Bitch Friday, during which a female listener would join the boys with the sole intent of getting drunk and thereby provide entertainment. The bit was highly popular, but both the hosts and their executive producer felt the bit wasn't quite what it was supposed to be, and announced that it would be ended on January 20th, 2006.
