About Me

HELLO, I'M DREW.LETS HANG OUT AND... STUFF.
I'm here to bastardise the Arts.
...eventually.
In my own time, yeah?
"i don't totally get your life.." - Steven Mitchell Wright of the Danger Ensemble
There's not much going on with my profile right now.
I don't really feel it's incredibly "me" as I am at this very moment.
I guess it's current state of neglect and "unmaintenance" reflects my lack of interest in making an effort at this myspacing game for the time being.
If you're looking for my myspace music page, it can be found by clicking on the banner below! If you're not looking for my myspace music page, why not?
I'm always up for talking music, circus, movies, drums, bass, guitar, songwriting, tech & production techniques or whatever so long as you're not just going to attempt to talk down to me...
Drew!x
For the record; I like the big fucking clown on the New Brighton roundabout.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet everybody. I want to meet forward thinkers, open minded yet independent and inquisitive folk. Passionate people. Creative People. People with whom I have shared interests. People with whom I have nothing whatsoever in common. If you're not me, don't like the things I like & don't like the things I do, I want to meet you too! I am me, I spend all of my time with me, I want to meet people who have more to offer me than what I already know... Stephen Fry, I'd love to hang out with that mad bastard.

This week I'm diggin' the animation of "Fleischer Studios" and the overall creative energy of Esao Andrews, amongst other awesomites of the world.

Heroes:

I'm not too into branding people 'heroes' but I take inspiration from and totally dig people who aren't afraid to be passionate and brutally honest whilst rawking the fuck out!

Lyricists/poets, such as Jamie Lenman, Amanda Palmer, Peter Dolving, Scroobius Pip, Bjork Guomundsdottir and Vanessa Carlton, amongst others which escape me right now, are all characters I have much respect for.

People who simply ooze creativity in other forms, such as Amanda Palmer (again), Brian Viglione, Simon Neil, 'The Dragon', Charlie Chaplin, Stephen Fry, Ryan Martinie, Mark Haddon, Imogen Heap, a bit more Bjork... I could go on for hours but I'm sure you get the idea!
