JON JEF JAM MUSIC is an exciting, new independent record label representing all musical genres and catering to every musical taste. The Los Angeles-based company is founded by visionary entrepreneur John Alan Andrews, whose love for music runs deep within his Caribbean roots, and is inspired in part, by Motown phenomenon Berry Gordy.John’s vision for the label is to fuse together different musical elements and genres in a way that will not only bring old school classic sounds together with new rhythms and beats, but to also span the globe for indigenous sounds and to become known for latest music to permeate the club scene – and create what you will be dancing to and listening to next.This label’s mission is to unlock doors for new artists and undiscovered talent looking for chances they may not get, either because they lack the Industry connections or the know-how and proximity to the key decision makers.John Alan Andrews is a film and television industry veteran with over a decade in the business as a TV commercial actor, writer and producer of two upcoming feature films. But his love of music has been drawing him into this side of the entertainment business more and more, and with the creation of Jon Jef Jam Music; the dream is fully realized.Last year he aligned himself with and sought mentorship from The Temptations’ Harry Berry, winner of a Grammy and Soul Train Award in 1999, along with Grammy nominations for Lady and Phoenix Rising, and whose musical career started while in high school and has since bridged several decades. Berry, before passing on last year, shared with John a tremendous vision for the future of the music industry. A vision undoubtedly shared with any one else, as the two were embarking on heading up this musical entity.
