"Civilization crumbles when it’s citizens need it most."
I'd like to meet:
Remember the great philosphy of life that everyone should follow: "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"I'm not here for hookups or one-nighters. I'm mostly here just to meet some cool people that can actually hold a conversation. I like all kinds of people. Old, young, tall, short, gay, straight ... hey whatever. I can talk to anyone and hang out with all kinds of people. Being mature is always a plus. I find it odd that some people start out extremely mature and in less than a few weeks evolve into eight year old children! You should strive to be yourself. My momma Lorrie told me once that "there's nobody more interesting than the real you." I think she meant it as a word of wisdom ... either that or she was just calling me strange? Either way, I like people that are comfortable in their own skin. You shouldn't try to impress people with how cool or interesting you are. If you allow them to see the real you, they'll be impressed all on their own.
Movies:
When it comes to movies, I'm a sci-fi/horror person. I’m big on sci-fi. It’s not just a dork thing, I just enjoy the idea of what COULD be coming in the future, it’s inspiration on film. But, I also love a good horror movie. But don't fall for that tag line "scariest movie of the year" because you'll be disappointed every time. Trust me on this one, only thing good about that Wax movie was Chad Murray!
Television:
Anything STAR TREK! I'm a trek-nut!
I'm a big Family Guy, Futurama & American Dad fan. I'm a news junkie, I'm always veggin' out on CNN or Headline News.
I’m not a reality show viewer. I get enough reality at my job. I watch TV to get away from reality for an hour, not to watch some jackass that thinks he can sing or someone that will eat worms for cash or makes a fool of himself trying to romance complete strangers. blahhhh ... give me Star Trek anytime!Ruperts' Funeral

Books:
CLIVE CUSSLER! ... HUGE fan of Cussler's work.
I'm an avid reader. My mother told me once that reading helps expand your mind, create brain cells and repair damaged brain cells. And heaven knows I've done enough damage to my brain since I discovered blunts! I'm an eclectic reader. I read everything ... mystery, suspense, horror, sci-fi, adventure and history novels. A few of my other favorite authors are Peter Benchley, Steve Alten, Anne Rice, Christopher Rice, Michael Jan Friedman and Michael Crichton.
Heroes:
"Now the trumpet summons us again — not as a call to bear arms, though arms we need; not as a call to battle, though embattled we are — but a call to bear the burden of a long twilight struggle, year in and year out, "rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation" — a struggle against the common enemies of man: tyranny, poverty, disease, and war itself."
