Ruth Fenton

I've been singing and playing the piano for as long as I can remember. I went on to study musical direction and jazz singing in France. Notable performances were with the Groupe Vocale d'Opera Junior, Montpellier; at the Avignon Theatre Festival and then as a jazz singer in Lyon. I'm currently based in Brixton and have performed with The Art Deco jazz quintet, St Patrick's Gospel Choir and Fuschia (www.myspace.com/fuchsiafive)- a five piece vocal group doing jazz arrangements, contemporary, classical and original compositions. I'm also working at my own songs which I hope to be performing soon. I direct a number of vocal groups: Vocality Claygate, Sol Singers and run workshops.
