Jula Jah Soundsystem difunde a cultura reggae em Portugal, num estilo próprio que reflecte influências de artistas/soundsystems estrangeiros e nacionais, abrangendo todas as correntes (Roots, Dancehall e Dub). Formado em 2002, tem vindo a marcar presença nos mais importantes eventos de Reggae a nÃvel nacional. O colectivo venceu em 2006 o Riddim Contest, e o No Mercy SoundClash, o primeiro soundclash organizado em Portugal.

Jula Jah Soundsystem helps spreading the Reggae culture in Portugal, in its own style which reflects the influences from foreign and national artists/soundsystems. All styles of conscious Reggae music is played, from Roots to Dancehall and heavy Dub.
Born in 2002, the sound has played in some of the major events across the nation. In 2006 Jula Jah won the Riddim Contest, featuring singers like Calonga and Ras Marcelo and later that year it came out victorious from the first SoundClash ever to be organized in Portugal.
