I..m a 27 year old “dude†and I was born and bred in Lisbon, Portugal.My favorite things in the world are Music (listening, mixing, and producing) having a good Dance, Surfing, my Family and Friends and of course Sex.My first musical experience was Classical and when I was 9 yrs old I had a few piano lessons influenced by my father, a classical pianist, and the fact I had a Baby Grand at home.At 12 I decided to play guitar and taught myself listening to Rock, Metal, Grunge, Blues and to bands like Guns & Roses, Nirvana, Metallica, Pearl Jam, and many others. In 1994/1995 I started listening to electronic music (Underworld, Faithless, Chemical Brothers, Propellerheads, Prodigy, Fat Boy Slim etc…) and playing with music software, making my first attempts of a tune. Since, I have done two degrees on music technology to improve my music production skills.My first dance music club experience changed my life forever. I was fascinated by the way the music was blended continuously, the energy it created on the dance floor and the way it made me feel and dance along these magic, timeless, musical journeys.I started djing in 1996 to listen to my favourite tunes, create my own compilations, and to make people feel and dance the way I do when I listen to a good set. What I love about it is the involvement with the crowd, the energy that it creates and the power it has to take us into a trance state where there..s only the music and our mind and body, being driven by the sounds.In 2001 I got a job at a record distributor in Portugal where I worked for a couple of years spent my wages on records and learnt a bit more about dance music and the music industry.My record collection goes from House to Techno and all their sub genres, Break Beats and some Drum and Bass. I could list the amount of people who influence me but it would take up this whole page. So in a nutshell: Thoughtful and meaningful music, friends & family, people in general (and their opinions), positive and negative experiences, weird sounds, traveling, thinking, the world...In 2005 I came to Brighton and have since become one of the most requested DJ..s in the scene and am now working with 4 different promoters and promoting my own.
