Layout Provided By FreeCodeSource.com - Myspace LayoutsWhere to begin... First and foremost, I am an artist...Illustrator, graphic designer, clothing desinger, sculptor, painter, graffiti artist. Art is pretty much my whole life. I spend my days at work designing graphics and clothing for a mens streetwear company, my nights painting and designing my own work. I say art is "pretty much" my whole life because there is more. I have a wonderful family...my beautiful wife Alida and my incredible son Legend...my whole world revolves around them. Everything comes second to them. If I don't have time to paint, it's only because I'm hangin' out with them. I've been married for 7 years and Legend just turned 2. He's at such an incredible age...to see him learning more and more each day...literally changing in front of your eyes...it truly is a sight and experience. Honestly, I never thought I would see these days in my life...I never thought I'd be ready to get married and start a family...it's amazing to see what God has done for me and what he has in store for all of us...Life never really works out quite how you think it will... To take it back a bit further... I was born in Germany...came here at only a few months old. Raised in Yonkers, NY(and because no one knows where that is-it's just outside the Bronx) and now reside in the Peoples Republic of Brooklyn. I have incredible parents who have supported my throughout my entire life and a great family. As for my aspirations in life...Basically I just want to make a living off creating art. I am doing that in a sense now, but not for myself. My dream coming up was always to just be a freelance artist, doing editorial illustrations for magazines, gallery shows and my own little clothing line. I always wanted to work from home, whenever I felt to the urge to work...usually late a night...and not be constricted by a 9-6 job. That was the case for a minute. I was freelancing, making enough to get by on illustration work...but that life is very hard...and a crazy hustle...You do a job, don't get paid for months, if at all, and work is not steady. I bartended for 10 years while painting and designing coming up...thankfullyu that is over with and I have a great job that supports my family. I plan on getting some freelance work going again and want to have a gallery show, but honestly, with a full time(over time) job and a family to take care of and spend time with...there's not enough hours in the day to get everything done...unless I go on some crazy ass Redbull diet! Anyway, check out my pics section to see some of my illustration work from over the years...I'll be adding a blog very soon to keep people up on the new things I do each day...I want people to see what I have to offer. I feel like God blessed me with all this creative talent...I want people to see it...and now I finally have the chance. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Music:

As I get older, my musical interests are getting broader...but I still have my staples. Basically, I'm a die-hard Hip Hop head('89-'95-the best years) and House head(Sound Factory BAR, Shelter, Body and Soul, Little Louie Vega, Francois K, Danny Krivit, Joe Clausel, Tommy Bones). Nowadays, I'm listening to a lotta different stuff...anywhere from Block Party to Bebel Gilberto to Black Moon to Body and Soul to the Strokes to J.Dilla to Roy Ayers to DJ Shadow to Tommy Bones to Sambahollics. Theres so much out there to hear...music heals your soul...

Movies:

The Matrix Trilogy is still my favorite to this day. The first one takes the . The Bourne Identity series... I read the books...absolutely NOTHING like the movies...I like the movies way better. The Ocean's 11 series...loads of skate vids, Jogo de Capoeira, too much to list... Nowadays, who needs movies...you just go to youtube and download whatever you want...entertainment for HOURS!

Television:

Fox Soccer Channel-to keep up on all goings on in the futbol world, my wife's shows(Grey's Anatomy, ANTM, The OC), an occasional movie. Not to mention endless amounts of kids shows for my son on Noggin.

Books:

Every book Dan Brown(of Davinci Code fame) has written. I read them all. But to top my list, above all, is Neuromancer by William Gibson. I read it like 6 times. It is one of the books that inspired the Matrix. It's just a great read and I could read it again tomorrow and get something new out of it every time.

Heroes:

I'd say God, but God is not just my hero.. He is my BE ALL, END ALL, my beginning, middle and end...He's everything without fail... My heroes are my parents for sure. They have always helped me in any way they could and have bailed me out of some not so great situations. I am forever gratefull to them for everything they have done and I love them very much.
