As I get older, my musical interests are getting broader...but I still have my staples. Basically, I'm a die-hard Hip Hop head('89-'95-the best years) and House head(Sound Factory BAR, Shelter, Body and Soul, Little Louie Vega, Francois K, Danny Krivit, Joe Clausel, Tommy Bones). Nowadays, I'm listening to a lotta different stuff...anywhere from Block Party to Bebel Gilberto to Black Moon to Body and Soul to the Strokes to J.Dilla to Roy Ayers to DJ Shadow to Tommy Bones to Sambahollics. Theres so much out there to hear...music heals your soul...
The Matrix Trilogy is still my favorite to this day. The first one takes the . The Bourne Identity series... I read the books...absolutely NOTHING like the movies...I like the movies way better. The Ocean's 11 series...loads of skate vids, Jogo de Capoeira, too much to list... Nowadays, who needs movies...you just go to youtube and download whatever you want...entertainment for HOURS!
Fox Soccer Channel-to keep up on all goings on in the futbol world, my wife's shows(Grey's Anatomy, ANTM, The OC), an occasional movie. Not to mention endless amounts of kids shows for my son on Noggin.
Every book Dan Brown(of Davinci Code fame) has written. I read them all. But to top my list, above all, is Neuromancer by William Gibson. I read it like 6 times. It is one of the books that inspired the Matrix. It's just a great read and I could read it again tomorrow and get something new out of it every time.
I'd say God, but God is not just my hero.. He is my BE ALL, END ALL, my beginning, middle and end...He's everything without fail... My heroes are my parents for sure. They have always helped me in any way they could and have bailed me out of some not so great situations. I am forever gratefull to them for everything they have done and I love them very much.
