BIOGRAPHY Hi, I'm Roy Mclaren (aka) Chorduroy Music. I'm 26 years old and come from Thornhill near Stirling, in Scotland. I began DJing at the age of 14 with my trusted belt drives and have been DJing ever since.
Having been an avid dance fanatic from an early age I went to study Music Technology at college then onto a study a commercial music degree at Paisley University. I have numerous DJ residencies thorughout central Scotland and in 2003 I won the Scottish Open Decks Championship which was held in Edinburgh. You can currently catch me DJing every Saturday for Twisted @ Fubar in Stirling
I have spent the last 3 years have been spent learning and perfecting my DJing skills and spending as much time as possible in the studio producing house music as that is where my true passion lies.In 2006 I signed to The Shapeshifters' own Nocturnal Groove label for a 3 track EP and have also worked on a remix for Etherfox ('Something Different To Say') for same label.
