Writing, reading, and curtain twitching. People are fascinating creatures.
Anyone interesting. People who love to read. Writers at any stage in their careers. People who like to talk about the universe and the meaning of life. People who like to laugh.
Almost anything. I draw the line at Patsy Cline...
The greatest films ever made are The Matrix trilogy, but they are so much more than mere films. I also love Old Boy, The Chronicles of Narnia, Donnie Darko, Borat, Deep Impact, Eight Below, The Butterfly Effect, Fallen, Sin City, 28 Days Later, Saw and The Amityville Horror.
FRIENDS! And Scrubs. I also love the Office, Nip Tuck, House, Grey's Anatomy, Dexter, The Amazing Race, Dirt, The Peep Show, Lost, Supernatural, Dark Angel, Coupling and Extras.
There are so many. Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials has a special place in my heart, and Odd Thomas by Dean Koontz is wonderful (in fact most things by Dean Koontz are pretty good). I loved the Bartimaeus trilogy by Jonathan Stroud. And Roger Morris' Taking Comfort is fantastic. Wuthering Heights is the only book I have ever read more than once. Jeremy Clarkson's books are always good for a laugh. The Book of Lost Things is a recent favourite, but I have to say that the best book I have read to date is Scarlet Thomas' The End of Mr Y. Absolute Genius.
Karl Pilkington. He is living proof that you need no talent, brains, or even ambition in this life to go as far as you want. The man is a legend.
