Dr. Yes

About Me

Dr. Yes is Stephen Trombley, whose musical collaborations over the past few years include the London-based band Falling Angels (with Johnny "Guitar" Hodge) and work with R&B singer Sharon Rose and composer/producer Steve Parr. In 2005 he and Sour Hills (Chris Sauer, of Glim and Janet Vodka fame, Jeff Buckley favorite) formed Psychoneedles (myspace.com/psychoneedles). They were joined in 2006 by ex-Patti Smith guitarist and writer Oliver Ray and drummer Peter Maine, and played their first gig in New York City in September. His career also includes fifteen years as an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker ("The Execution Protocol", "Drancy", "Nuremberg", "War & Civilization", "Stockpile"). As a writer his books include biographies of Virginia Woolf and Sir Frederick Treves, along with studies on eugenics and capital punishment.
