Every since I can remember, I've always wanted to play guitar. I officially started when I was 12. I got my first guitar that Christmas. I've never looked back. It was something that I just always felt I should be doing and I enjoy it more than anything else.
I was born in Atlanta. Transplanted to the Antelope Valley in Southern California for a while, then moved back to Atlanta when I was 13. Just about all of my band work was done in Atlanta. The most notable of these being, Popular Misconception, The Keep and Spaceseed.
In 1999 I relocated to England. I got fed up with my job and decided to start teaching guitar. It proved to be very lucrative. I had a friend who owned a small label called Rio Records and he convinced me to do my first solo effort which is called 'One Small Step'. It was great to finally do an album that I wanted to do. The album is available through the Rio Records website and on most digital download services including iTunes, Yahoo Music and many others.
Last year, I worked with a band called Blondenfreude which featured Zoe (Sunshine on a Rainy Day/Hammer) on vocals. After a cold reception from the circles we were shopping in, we decided to abandon the project. The album is finished, but who knows when or where it might see the light of day.
I've just finished the follow up to my debut album 'One Small Step'. The new album is called 'Oh Brother' and is the first album on my own label, Gorp Records. There will be gigs this year to promote the album. Watch this space.
