OK...about me...an old ARMY TV commercial once boasted, "If someone wrote a book about your life, would anyone want to read it?" Well, to make a long story short, I think my book would be a bestseller.
Hello my name is Erik aka Lord Waterhead. I bust ass for and take a lot of pride in the Twin Ports metal scene. I'm lead singer and business manager for Jaundice; a grind/death metal band from these parts. I also do most of the metal booking for the area and have attracted talent from all over the United States and Canada to play here. I also created and am editor-in-chief of The Diatribe; a rock/metal based magazine aimed at bringing the Twin Ports scene to a larger stage and vice versa.
Other than that, my personal life is rather boring, and in contrast to everything I've got going on, I kind of like it that way.

Which Norse God or Goddess are you most like?

You scored as Satanism. Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Satanism! Before you scream, do a bit of research on it. To be a Satanist, you don't actually have to believe in Satan. Satanism generally focuses upon the spiritual advancement of the self, rather than upon submission to a deity or a set of moral codes. Do some research if you immediately think of the satanic cult stereotype. Your beliefs may also resemble those of earth-based religions such as paganism.

What is Your World View?
created with QuizFarm.com

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.

This is since the summer of 2005 and I have no intention on letting up. So to my detractors, Fuck You.

Music:

My mom was into Pink Floyd. My dad was into the Beatles. These being my first two influences by name (I was around 5 years old) I also listened to the radio and whatever my uncle's band was playing, which was cover tunes for the time (early-mid 70's).
From age 9-12 I was into Kansas, Styx, Rush, Kiss, Boston, Journey, shit like that. I listened to the radio hits for that time period. I also liked Abba quite a bit.
In 1982 when I went to Junior High I started listening to Heavy Metal. Like Iron Maiden and Scorpions. Judas Priest. Ozzy Osbourne. Sabbath. Dio. Thin Lizzy. Etc, Etc. My first concert I ever went to was Iron Maiden on their Powerslave tour back in November of 1984 at the old Met in Bloomington, MN. Twisted Sister opened up for them.
In the summer of 1985 I started getting into Motorhead and Venom and Metallica. Then Slayer and Anthrax. Then Exodus and Possessed. In this period of time I bought so much music that by 1988 you name it I either had it or knew about it.
By the time I turned 21 I had a good 700-800 albums, tapes and CD's in my collection. Anything from Abba to Zoetrope. From Classical to Acid Jazz to Hardcore Punk to Metal. I was in my 5th band, playing drums and lead vocals for Malignant God. Never heard us? NOT SURPRISED! Anyway, I was mega into death/grindcore on top of all the aforementioned styles of music...including Floyd and The Beatles. A friend of mine even turned me on to Frank Zappa and King Crimson and Tin Machine.
Well, it's been over 15 years from then to now and my roots haven't changed. I have over 3000 CD's now (my tapes are long gone and my albums ALL got water damaged in my basement at the time and I was unsuccessful in saving any of them) and my tastes are more diverse than they've ever been.
I will say one thing though, any music created for the sole purpose of making money is not music. It's corporate media garbage. It doesn't belong on radio or TV. It belongs on elevators, supermarkets, and public restrooms.
