About Me
Rodrigo Torres was raised from seed in California's ever growing, City of Riverside. Unlike many comedian's who venture into the forbidden world of comedy at open mics, Rodrigo started comedy by heckling comedians, "That was funny and now fools heckle me, respect!" The following day, Rodrigo won 3rd place in the "Blue Apollo" talent show hosted by the legendary African American Sigma fraternity at Cal State San Bernardino, third only to two beautiful female singers.
Rodrigo gained national television exposure performing on shows like 'Loco Comedy Jam,' from the producers of 'Que Loco's', 'LA TV Live'. In addition, Rodrigo showcased his stand-up skills on 'Latino Laugh Festival: The Show,' hosted by Pablo Francisco, an influential comedy lord. Anyhow, Rodrigo performs relentlessly night after night at comedy shows across southern California and also ventures to Northern California, Arizona, Texas and Chicago. What is Rodrigo's goal as a comedy man: To be a funny comedian like the guys that are authentically slaying today: Cory Holcomb and Joey Diaz. In order to generate some decimals, "I ain't gonna lie, for tight shoes and technological gadgets playa. Stand up forever homie!"
See you in the pit.....RODrigo.
Summing up, Rodrigo has worked with everybody in the Latino Comedy Universe and it continues to be an unbelievable experience!
