This is a project filled with love, love for the music and performing
Dj Mata Hari (Berta) has only been djing in public for a year though she has been learnin from the best dj´s of the world during many years. From her debut at Mundo Canibal @ Sala-Apolo in Barcelona, she has been the weekly resident alongside dj Mamaye. With her mix of gypsy music from around the globe heavily influence by electronic sounds and her spectacular show, she takes of the roof at any venue she played so far.
Dj Al Lindrum aka Latin Viking (Allan) is an old dog, with 13 years djing round the best venues and festivals in Europe. He comes from a electronic/hiphop background though he has always been eclectic mixing up the electronic sound with a more acoustic vibe creating his personal and incomparable sound. A dj with a mission to make the dancefloor sweat.
Together they have formed this openminded and mindblowing project without musical boundaries, bringing in the performance and show to the world of djing. Creating they housebrand, a world of music, fun, energy & love.
Separately they have a fat cv within the world of production. Berta has been working the last six years as sound engineer in www.sala-apolo.com where she has worked with all the big fish from hiphop, funk, electronic, reggae etc. She has an amazing hearing capable of capturing and separating any frequency…..incredible I say !! Allan has been producing the last 7 year having released for labels like www.abeduquerecords.com & www.mentalgroove.ch under Al Lindrum and www.hitoprecords.com under The Beat Nation. A producer who very much likes to cut & paste ;)
Together they have just uploaded their first joint studio production a rework/remix from Israelian world singer www.myspace.com/talyagaga which is aimed straight at the dancefloor !!!!
