About Me

Soul, funk and raw Indian tribalism beat at the centre of Krupa's dhol-shaped heart, and the music emanating from it is, to quote the BBC, 'insanely catchy'.
Krupa has been writing her own music for several years, but a more public persona grew via her performances as lead vocalist alongside the critically acclaimed bands, Sister India, 1 Giant Leap and Transglobal Underground. TGU's remix of her song Emotional YoYo is now featured on 'MoonShout', an album which has just won a BBC Radio 3 World Music Award. Krupa also appears on double grammy nominated 1GiantLeap's forthcoming CD/DVD/ TV programme 'What About Me', scheduled to air on Channel 4 @ midnight, April 23rd in the UK.... Catch the 7 part series on channel 4 every wednesday at midnight. Follow the journey and see Krupa in episode 6 "GRACE"

The London based singer songwriter's musical path was not something she chose, but rather something that chose her. The lyrics to her track 'Living My Life' articulate the singer's karmic point - to live the life I came for - and Krupa is doing just that. Without compromise.
Currently Krupa is writing and producing her own music, you can see her perform at select clubs across the UK.
PS: When Krupa is not singing she works as a freelance stylist, (for herself), and indulges in a never-ending collection of shoes and jewellery. She has a Marjorie Dawes type affection for cup cakes and occasionally bakes apple crumble.
