The Cher Convention, inspired by "Believe" topping the Billboard Charts in 1999, is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for the Children's Craniofacial Association, in which Cher is the National Chairperson.

disfigured individuals and their families.
This is an independent event sanctioned by the Children's Craniofacial Association.
Our beloved Sonny Smith passed peacefully on September 12, 2007. He was 57 years old. Brother to Wayne Smith. He was very generous in his work with the convention. He will be missed.
The Cher Convention sends our deepest condolences to Patti Darcy Jones' family and friends. Patti, Cher's backup singer of 20 years, always gave her all during each and every performance, and she'll forever be remembered and missed.
