About Me

If you care...

I'm a 21 year old DJ/Producer living in Totnes, Devon. I've been DJing for six or seven years now mixing hip hop, funk/breaks, jazz, reggae, DnB and anything else that sounds dope. Over the past year I've played at various places around the area, most noticably Jelly Jazz at the Quay Club, Black Czesna in Lublin, Poland, the Hub in Plymouth, The Three Fat Fish in Exeter (now also called the Hub..), The Acorn in Penzance, The Maker Site (Maker Fest next year baby!) as well as various parties, gatherings and strange cornish hotels.

I've worked alongside the bands such as the Gentlemen Rebels (sweaty shotgun-funk - I did some live cuts for these guys), Sellors & The Scientists (dubbed out funky rock) and mixed with too many DJ's to list here, although I gotta namecheck my man Alex who always drops a heavy set and inspired me to start mixing in the first place.

At the moment I'm concentrating on making a hip hop production album featuring vocalists from all over the country - hopefully MySpace will help facilitate this. All my beats are original, I try not to use Sample Packs or Reason Refills (Stylus RMX was used for various drums however). All the scratching is by myself (don't start fronting - I know I'm not the greatest). I'll add more beats as they're made. I've got two radio shows on the college station which will hopefully be streamed .. soon, for now check back here for podcasts.

As well as the music thang I'm in final year of Dartington College or Arts studying Arts & Cultural Management with Digital Arts at BA level. I want to one day own a record label so hopefully this will help (that's the idea anyway...). After my course is finished I'm hoping to take my Digital Arts work up to MA level. Then it's only one step away before you have to call me Doctor..

Thanks for reading, drop me a message for bookings, remix work or any other info. Abuse and threats will be pinned on the fridge with the rest of the collection. Peace!
..
