Music has been a major part of Adamatic's life since the age of 10. It began with classical training on the sax and drums, then moved into DJing, and finally into music production. Adamatic was born and raised in the D.C./Baltimore area, later moved to the NYC area for some time, and finally landed in L.A. These urban areas that he has called home over the years, all have their own distinct music scenes, flavors, and textures, which have in some way all influenced and helped to structure his sound today. Adamatic has produced a variety of musical styles but tends to focus on hip-hop, while dabling some with trip-hop and downtempo electronic music. His production work has been described as original, passionate, and innovative.
As far as his work with MC's, Adamatic has produced tracks for Luckyiam (Living Legends), Gajah (Acid Reign/Alpha Pup Records), Olmeca, Ellay Khule (aka Rifleman), Open Mike Eagle (Thirsty Fish/Project Blowed), Big Arch (Project Blowed), and Remo Conscious.
Current production work that Adamatic is doing with MC's includes, producing tracks for Sunspot Jonz (Living Legends), Luckyiam (Living Legends), Scarub (Living Legends), Mystic, and Express Fresh.
On the instrumental side of things, Adamatic has produced a full-length, trip-hop album on Beluga Recordings, produced a trip-hop track for a compilation album on Beluga Recordings, and he has produced a full-length, instrumental hip-hop Bomb Hip-Hop Records.
With regards to remixes, Adamatic has done remix work for Azeem (on Bomb Hip-Hop), and for Fatlip (on Delicious Vinyl).
