DJ GI Joe

Started on this trip back in 1984,After recording a single with a group I was in at the time called Mirror Image.My first Disco was at my old school on 14th Feb 1984 going under the name DJ Powerline but that was a crap name,I started using the name GI Joe after my then love for the Army and my name Joe.I listen and remix anything,i'm no Dance Music snob I love all forms for dance music,Hip hop House Jungle RnB etc it doesn't matter to me.To limit yourself to one genre of music is a waste,There's so much good music, Dj's and artists out there.Since 1984 i've worked all over the UK and Europe including,France,Holland,Gremany,Spreading my style of Live Remixing and 2 Tracker MADNESS to the world.So any who is fed up with my love for remixing and 2 trackers can blame the great Shep Pettibone and the early disco mix Club mixes for this.For the past few years I can be found at Subtone in Cheltenham UK,causing audio violence playing Hip Hop, Breaks,R n B, Dancehall and Electric,Also working in London in the West End in various Clubs,Look out for details.And will be touring France soon.At the Soundbunker Studio i'm working on some remixes,With 2007 in mind to release a series of Remix Albums on the net.So Keep your eyes open for details.The Setup DJ GI Joe Uses on the Road is,Toshiba Laptop running PCDJ,MAC3 controller,American Audio Mixer,2 Denon DNS 3000 decks.2 Technics 1210,My Home Setup Toshiba Laptop Running Cubase 4,PCDJ,Mac 3 Controller,American Audio Mixer,2 Dennon DNS 3000CD decks,Novation sl37,Emu Mo Phatt Akai Z8,Mackie CFX 20,Milk Sugar and other secret things!!
