Freedom Sound is an up and coming Sydney sound system with a mission to bring reggae music to the people. Selecta, Benjahman, and Robotico have the collections and selections to make you dance, from the classic sounds of ska to massive beats of dancehall and everything in between.
After promoting ska and reggae music for over 5 years Benjahman and Selecta joined forces with Robotico to establish Freedom Sounds and give Sydney what it really needs: a dedicated weekly reggae event. Since its launch in November 2006 the night has hosted both local and interstate acts and attracting big and enthusiastic crowds. Some of the artists who Freedom Sound have had the privilege of playing alongside include Firehouse Sound, Dynamite!, King Tide, Rastawookie, Lotek, Chasm, Budspells, Rumpunch, Foreign Dub, CBD Dub Project, Basslines Crew, Kobra Kai and many more....
