About Me

Journalist by day, thumb war champion by night, hacketball extraordinaire in training, surfer....well, i'm trying. Have been working as a journo for almost five years years...apart from a six month stint lapping up St Kilda, trying to finish off a degree etc etc... All in preparation for the next adventure. That being ALICE SPRINGS (via two years in MILDURA)... Love chasing down a story, a good laugh (at myself if need be), a dance and also indulge in kicking back and taking things slowly.. but surely... i believe we are where we are supposed to be at all times, even if the reason for being there isn't at first apparent. "that which shed light, must endure burning". geeze i'm deep. would do a reverse-triple-tuck-turn off a high rise building for my family and friends...attached to a bungee rope, of course. I appreciate a sense of humour over funny people; value wisdom and thirst for knowledge over stupid but widely read people; and open hearts and minds. Oh, and I once spent 11 days sailing a replica of the Endeavour tall ship from Sydney to Geelong...I like to boast about that :-) "Peace is not the absence of war; it is a virtue; a state of mind; a disposition for benevolence; confidence; and justice." - SPINOZA>

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

a break-dancing turtle. i hear their shells are perfect for such things... apart from that, people who smile and laugh for free and in abundance; people who want to make a beautiful difference to the world.
