What The World Needs

About Me

I am an Actor, Poet, Playwright, Dramaturg, Deejay, Emcee, political visionary, freestyle kabbalist,
healer, secular rastafarian, neo-modernist and CRAZY DANCER. I was quite often seen at The Sunrooms dancing like a fruitcake but now I'm planning to do that in Bristol.
I love to create..........
I TOOK A KICK-ARSE COMEDY SHOW TO EDINBURGH, BUT NOW I'LL JUST TAKE ANY WORK I CAN LAY MY HANDS ON AS LONG AS IT'S HYGIENIC
CAN YOU GIVE ME MONEY? I'M SERIOUS.
I USED TO PUT THIS POETRY NIGHT ON EVERY NOW AND THEN

AND THIS ONE WAS STRICTLY FOR THE SEXY PEOPLE:
S-O-S MuckRakers invited you to this:
And then this:
Ethnically speaking, I am a little bit Gypsy; German; French Huguenot with possible traces of Sephardic (Spanish) Jew; Irish; I have an Afro from some part of my ancestry...mm...hmmm but I don't know which part though my family's residential origins are in the immigrant-heavy East-End of London and the Somerset/Devon area which were popular places for former African slaves. I have big love for all those who believe in self-improvement and despair at all forms of totalitarian thought control, especially the Catholic church and things like the Kabbalah Center. It takes a life time of hermetic study to appreciate the meaning of the Zohar. It aint about putting on a red bit of string and giving a dodgy rabbi your dollar. The muck shall inherit the earth. ..
Which Trainspotting Character Are You?

My Interests

Music, Poetry, Theatre and all related activities; Socio-Economic Libertarianism; Bi-polar affective disorder; Neo- Modernism; Anarcho-capitalism; cheap red wine; gin; Irish whiskey and the occasional cigarette.

I'd like to meet:

Prince; Kofi Annan; Howard Marks; Estelle; Sir David Hare, playwright; Simon McBurney- artistic director of Complicite; Caryl Churchill, playwright; Saul Williams; Dave Chappelle; Ursula Rucker, I need to buy all her stuff; Johnny Depp; Jack Nicholson; the nice people I spoke to at npgmusicclub.com; Liam Howlett; every deejay, emcee, and producer ever involved in the drum and bass scene, you are the true underground; Courtney Pine (again); Rodney Smith (Roots Manuva) (again); Dylan Mills (Dizzee Rascal) and the true pioneers of the dubstep and grimeski scene, you know who you are... I like to work in some capacity with Nolay and the Unorthodox lot, they seem cool; Mike Skinner and his colleagues, obviously The Mitchell Brothers; Sway and all the good souls. KRS-1, finally, he is the keeper of the spirit of Hip Hop, don't believe the hype, there is more to this music than MTV and even Channel U. Pop is as pop does, check out Gilles Peterson show on Radio 1 and 1xtra on Sunday afternoons if you want to know more. Those who believe in KRS-1's message would be good to talk to once I'm mega famous, too, haha. Ultimately, I want to meet those who like to party, who like to dream, and who want to change the fucking planet for the better.

Music:

I like genres more than any artist in particular apart from Prince; Miles Davis; Charlie Parker James Brown; Goldie; JS Bach; Mozart; Jimi Hendrix; Beethoven; Roots Manuva; Johnny Cash; Dizzee Rascal; OutKast; BMW; old and nu, soulful and raw, Hip Hop:

Bebop; Jungle/ d'n'b; Cockney Grime & Dutty Dubstep; Disco; House; Detroit Techno; Bluegrass; Samba; Bossa Nova; Rock Steady; Reggae; Ska; Dancehall; Some weird electro shit; Funk, and all associated forms of Jazz and R'n'B... Unfinished Sympathy is my favourite song ever, despite having no horns. I loves me horns, I play trumpet occasionally, like on Polymath by Apollo Creed of S-O-S MuckRakers... this rocks:
House it baby!I used to buy vinyl here, R.I.P:Look! I done a video huhuhurr

Movies:

The Terminator; Blade Runner; Batman/ Returns/ Begins; X-men/ 2; Pulp Fiction; Jackie Brown; Memento; The Last Seduction; Robocop; Kids; City of God; LOTR; The Empire Strikes Back; Cool Runnings; Shakespeare in Love; Crouching Tiger; South Park: BLAU; Team America, fuck yeah! Being John Malkovich, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind; Dave Chappelle's Block Party (It really is one of the best music films ever made); Walk the Line was top notch- made me buy a few cds, now that's powerful; Edward Scissorhands; Chinatown; Napoleon Dynamite; Leaving Las Vegas; Monster's Ball; Training Day; Apocalypse Now: Redux- sit through it, it's worth it (on DVD, can't imagine doing it at the Kino). Citizen Kane- because the man it is based on caused herb to be illegal and deserved his fate, karma baby, karma; Serenity: Oh George, why don't you write characters like this anymore? Obviously Kevin Smith films are good but the only one that I love and have seen a million times is Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back, which would be nothing without his others but is by far the silliest and also has The Time, as in Purple Rain, so wins hands down; Purple Rain.

Television:

Which Mighty Boosh Character Are You?
You are Naboo!Your mind is a haven for shamonistic knowledge, and your spirit a haven for all things calm as the ocean. Don't lose your head in times of distress, because then you'd be even shorter. Peace.
Take this quiz !
Quizilla | Join| Make A Quiz | More Quizzes | Grab Code The Simpsons; Buffy; Angel- don't ask; Mighty Boosh; Red Dwarf; Family Guy, I hear there's a fifth season now; Monkey Dust; South Park; Clone Wars, much better than at least 75% of the prequels; Dead Like Me; Weeds; anything by Chris Morris. Chappelle's show (FX); The Daily Show with Jon Stewart (More4); I used to watch the Sopranos before I went off to uni, then missed most of the last series. I like Megas XLR on Toonami as well because I am a massive geek, a sexy-ass geek, but a geek nonetheless. Dangermouse has got to be in there, too. The cream of Britain's comic talents doing a cartoon, it really happened. I think that'll do, what must you think of me? I'm a lazy schlemiel at the best of times but Theatre shits on TV, I'm not just saying that because I have a Theatre degree. Check out the Royal Court and Theatre Royal Stratford East if you don't believe me. I'm also famous though, so you can't believe everything I say...Spot the ethnic:

Books:

Irvine Welsh. Colin Bateman. Rich Hall. Sue Townshend. Roald Dahl. Viz Annuals. 777, but don't forget Aleister Crowley plagiarised most of it from the real kabbalists, a bit like the "kabbalah center", I suppose.

Heroes:

Prince; Mum and Dad; all artists and thinkers whose ideas I have stolen e.g. Brecht; Artaud; Stanislavski; Hicks; Dave Chappelle and those they inspired; L. Ron Hubbard, for saying "Hmm, religion, that's where the money is." He convinced troubled young men that his ideas were worth promoting and throwing money at, despite these ideas having no basis in fact. All right, he's more of an anti-hero, but Tom Cruise, seriously, you believe in aliens and funny crap which is a tad less scientific than CLINICAL psychiatry! Silly billy.
