About Me

I started DJing at the Pink Toothbrush in 198click, we had to say click because the Keiser had stolen all of the sixes. I started playing Northern Soul, Ska, Punk, 70's funk (uncut funk the bomb) and hip hop. Once the House thing happened I was hooked and used to drive around the M25 to spend all night dancing in muddy fields.I love all music from banging acid techno to 60's soul. I have been promoting for almost as long as I have been DJing. I stated running Soul and funk nights in the late 80's, I started running hardhouse night SECTIONED about 6 years ago both in Southend and on Brixton hill at the good old George IV. Today It is just an occasional party as IMO the whole dance thing has died of late and I have been going back to my roots musically.I am promotions manager of The Royal Hotel in Southend which keeps me happy as we run a variety of underground nights with a wide range of musical styles. It is my aim to make The Royal a legendary alternative music venue..........................................
