Hello and Welcome to this site on myspace dedicated to give you, the public, a random sampling of the hundreds (literally) of animals in dire need of homes in the greater Los Angeles area! The basic purpose of this site it to get viewers to go to the shelters' sites, view the pics, and fall in love with a pet, and adopt it! That's my goal. In fact, if you or anyone you know adopts a pet at a Los Angeles area shelter, as a result of this profile, please let me know! I would be glad to know my efforts paid off for an animal! Well, let's start here:
My name is Christen, and I am a resident here on Myspace, a vast majority of my time. As the result of a recent visit to a local animal shelter, I have decided to make a myspace profile dedicated to showing a few of the wonderful animals out there that are without homes, and could be destined for euthansia.
Until the unwanted pet population is brought under control with surgical sterilization of these animals, there will continue to be hundreds of pets needing homes, many of which will never see that day.
Why don't I take them? Well, I am glad you asked. I live in Burbank, and I am to legal capacity of pets in my city. But I am a native Angeleno, and I will do anything within my means to find homes for pets in need.
So this is what I CAN DO! Spend more of my myspace hours helping these little guys, instead!
I will do my best to change out the pictures I post on here, with new ones from different pets that are listed on the city's website as adoptable.
You will need to go directly to the city's website or better yet, to the shelter of your choice to find out exactly which animals are availabe. My purpose is to attract attention and increase the animals' exposure.
